D.O.G.E. is coming to Florida
Here's how it works
Florida is about to get a major upgrade. Governor Ron DeSantis just announced Doge—the Department of Government Efficiency—is coming to Florida. That’s the same AI-powered watchdog Elon Musk is using to expose waste, fraud, and abuse at the federal level… and now we’re bringing it home.
We’re talking about AI audits, slashing useless government boards, and finally making local officials answer for how they spend our money. Best part? Doge in Florida only runs for one year. It cleans house, then it’s done. No endless programs that stick around forever.

Right now, Florida has over 70 state boards and commissions. And guess what? According to DeSantis, a ton of them don’t even do anything. They just hire more people and burn through more money every year. Doge is going to axe those fast.
And we all know all the waste and fraud Elon’s Doge is finding at the Federal level. They recently found $10 million going to voluntary medical male circumcisions in Mozambique. Yeah. That’s real. That’s your money. Imagine what Florida’s gonna find buried in local budgets.
Every dumb rule that doesn’t make sense? Gone after 8 years unless it’s reviewed. And if it doesn’t help taxpayers? It’s toast. DeSantis said 900 state jobs could be eliminated. That’s what this is all about—cut the bloat, kill the waste, and stop letting government grow just for the sake of it.
They’re even launching audits on every public university in Florida. They want to see if students are actually getting degrees that lead to real jobs. Not stuff like “Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse”—yeah, that was a real class at East Tennessee State. Unreal.
And you know those DEI programs sneaking their way back into schools under fake names? Doge is going to sniff them out and shut them down. No more pushing ideology.
But Doge isn’t stopping at the state level—it’s coming for your local city and county budgets too. Property taxes keep going up because these local budgets keep growing. Cities aren’t cutting spending—they’re just passing the bill to homeowners. Especially seniors. That’s not right.
My hope is that when DOGE Florida is done, every dollar spent will be searchable online. So you’ll know exactly where your money’s going. No more hiding bloated budgets behind pages of nonsense. Just clear info taxpayers can actually use.
And don’t forget— Elon’s DOGE already exposed FEMA for giving New York $59 million to house illegal aliens at the Roosevelt Hotel, which is owned by Pakistan!! You can’t make this stuff up. Florida’s about to crack things wide open.
All of this could lead to the best part—ending property taxes for good. Once we expose all the waste, there’s no reason homeowners should keep paying rent to the government just to stay in their house.
DeSantis is proving Florida can run on half the budget of New York, even with the same amount of people. We don’t need more taxes—we need to stop wasting the ones we already pay.
