DeSantis to China: "Get Out!"

I gotta tell you about something big that just went down in Florida. The video drops tomorrow, but this news can’t wait. We just watched a court fight that could’ve blown a huge hole in our state’s security, and thank goodness, Florida came out on top.

Florida’s been dealing with China sneaking into places most people don’t even think about. They’ve been buying land next to our military bases, slipping into our schools, getting tech into our homes, and even creeping into our power grid. And again, this isn’t about Chinese Americans, this is about companies tied to the Chinese Communist Party hiding behind fake business names so nobody sees the truth.

That’s why the law Florida passed in 2023 was such a big deal. Our lieutenant governor — and at the time, state senator — Jay Collins introduced the bill, and Governor DeSantis signed it into law. It blocks anyone tied to China and other hostile countries from buying farmland or land near our bases. If they already bought something in those zones, they have to sell it. It shut down a threat most people didn’t even know was happening.

China tried to knock that law out in court. If they won, it would’ve opened the door right back up and put all of us at risk again. The fight dragged on for more than a year, and the ruling finally came down. And here’s the win: the court said the law stays in place. It’s still active. It’s still enforceable.

But it’s not over yet. There’s still another lawsuit coming from activists trying to kill the law completely. They’re pushing hard, and they want the whole thing gone. So the fight is still alive. The good news is Florida’s law stays in place while this last case moves forward, so the protection doesn’t go away.

The crazy part is how far China has already gone.
