Florida's Free Speech Fight

It's under attack!

Florida lawmakers tried to sneak something past you. It lets giant farm corporations sue you just for speaking out. Not for lying. For speaking.

House Bill 433 and Senate Bill 290 had language buried deep inside. Section 47 in the House. Section 48 in the Senate. That’s where the trap was hiding.

This video just dropped at 3pm EST. Watch the full video now: Click Here!

Here’s how it works. If you post about sugarcane burns near your home, red tide in your water, or chemicals in your bay, a corporation can say your post wasn’t based on “reliable scientific data.” If they win, you pay their attorney fees. If you win, you still pay your own. That means even if you’re right, they can drain your bank account.

That’s not about protecting farmers. That’s about scaring regular people into silence.

The Senate just removed Section 48 after massive public pressure. Thousands of calls. Emails. People speaking up. That’s a win. But Section 47 is still alive in the House bill.

This isn’t just a Florida thing. During COVID, the federal government pressured tech platforms to take down posts they didn’t like. Doctors were banned. Scientists were silenced. Accounts disappeared. Whether you agreed with them or not, the point is simple: the government isn’t allowed to control speech. Now the playbook’s different. Instead of banning you online, they bury you in lawsuits.

If you’re new here, this is the kind of stuff I cover, what’s really going on behind the scenes in Florida. No fluff, no filters.

Here’s the good news. Pressure works. Lawmakers backed off in the Senate because people spoke up. That means your voice matters.

If you live in Florida, call the Chair of the House State Affairs Committee:

Will Robinson

(850) 717-5071

Or email at: [email protected]

Say this:

“My name is [Your Name], I’m a Florida resident and I’m calling to ask Representative Will Robinson to remove Section 47 from HB 433. This section threatens free speech and punishes people for speaking out about pollution and environmental issues. Please take it out. Protect the First Amendment. Thank you.”

Keep it simple. Be calm. It takes two minutes.
