Florida's Plan to END Property Taxes

This would be huge!

Florida’s property tax system is a joke. Even if you own your house outright, you’re still paying the government every single year just to keep it. And if you don’t? They take your home. That’s not ownership—that’s renting from the state.

Governor Ron DeSantis says he supports getting rid of property taxes, and if Florida pulls this off, it would be one of the biggest financial wins for homeowners ever. This would have to get on the ballot and Florida citizens could vote on it! Imagine never having to worry about rising tax bills forcing people out of their homes. If this happens, Florida would be the most homeowner-friendly state in the country. But how would it actually work? And who’s fighting to stop it?

I break it all down in my latest video that’s already gotten over 271,000 views. Get the full story watch here.

A lot of people don’t realize how bad property taxes can get. The year after you buy a house, your taxes get reassessed at full market value—which means your bill could double or even triple overnight. For retirees on a fixed income, that’s a nightmare. For families struggling to keep up, it’s even worse. If we got rid of property taxes, people wouldn’t have to worry about losing their homes just because their county decided to jack up rates.

Of course, politicians are going to lose their minds over this idea because they rely on your tax dollars to fund their budgets. But instead of wasting money on stuff nobody asked for, cities would have to actually spend smarter. Schools are already funded by the Florida lottery—so why do they still need property tax money?

If this ever makes it to the ballot, I’m voting YES all day, every day. The government shouldn’t get to charge you rent on something you already own.

I’m also working on a video about solar panels on rooftops—and honestly, I think they’re a scam. But I want to hear from you. Have you had a good or bad experience with solar? Was it worth it, or just a waste of money? Let me know—I might even quote you in the video (anonymously, of course).
