Florida's Second in Command

I hope you had a great Thanksgiving with family and friends. My wife and I went up to Georgia to spend time with Family (my Dad’s Brother’s side) and I’ve been playing catch up ever since. (I’m working on a great video right now I know you’re gonna love! Stay tuned)

I got to meet Lieutenant Governor Jay Collins again last night! He did a public meet and great in Madeira Beach. So I went over to show my support. If you don’t know Jay, he’s an Army Green Beret, then a Florida State Senator representing Tampa, now second in charge of our great state.

Jay didn’t come out and officially announce he’s running for governor ….yet….but I think thats coming in January of 2026. After the holidays. People say we could be brothers! 😂 What do you think??

Jay talked about eliminating Property Taxes 🙌🏼, high Insurance prices and basically getting more money back into the hands of Florida taxpayers. He’s in 100% lockstep on DeSantis’s agenda. Which I love. Because DeSantis has always done whats right for the people, even when it wasn’t popular and could've been political suicide. He did it anyway.

Here’s a fun fact about DeSantis. He served in the U.S House before he was Governor representing District 6 in Florida. He publicly announced, when he took office, that he would reject the taxpayer-subsidized pension and federal health benefits available to members of Congress for life. He also introduced a bill to end pensions for all future Members of Congress as well as those currently serving who are not yet vested into the congressional retirement plan. So basically Uncle Ronnie D has been fighting for taxpayers every step of the way! He really amazes me! That’s why Jay Collins is so important to Florida! He has the same beliefs and work ethic as DeSantis. Being govenor shouldnt be a popularity contest. It should be about who’s gonna support taxpayers. Here’s a fun fact about Jay. When he was a Florida State Senator, he passed 55 bills to help Floridians. And he secured more than $120 million to help the Tampa Bay Region. And that was only for 2 years and 9 months and then he was appointed L.G. of Florida. This guys a fighter through and through. 🇺🇸🫡

Remember, whoever Governor DeSantis endorses for the next Governor of Florida is who we need to vote for. Thats the endorsement that matters. And I truly feel it’s gonna be Jay Collins. Thats my pick! And I’m sticking to it.

I’m in the idea process right now of a video breaking down the pros and cons of each canditate and giving my opinion of each one. I don’t ever want to be hateful or tear people down because I don’t agree with them. I don’t like that. But I want to give poeple the facts about who they’re voting for. What do you think? Great video, full steam ahead? Or scrap it, and move on to the next one?
